This monofilament can be produced either
with a natural transparent polymer or with a matt polymer pigmented
with titanium dioxide (TiO2).
ESTENE has many different applications, in view of its special features,
such as very good toughness, resistance to low and high temperatures,
chemical agents, ultraviolet rays and wear. Due to its low moisture
absorption, it has a very good dimensional stability.
The main applications of this monofilament are ribbons, reinforcement
for conveyor belts, filtration fabrics. It can be used in contact
with food (FDA).
Other special applications are screen printing fabrics and paper
machines forming fabric and drying felts. |
